Wouldn’t we all like to be in the land of ice right now? With NYC temps soaring near 100 again today, I thought I’d cool off with a few icy images from a glacier hike in Patagonia. I’d personally like to dunk my head in that glacier lake right now. Yes, that is a deep blue crevasse that my fellow hikers shouldn’t have been standing so perilously close to, but I think our tour guide summed it up for them when he pointed at the deep hole and said “You go here? You die!” Then they stepped back a bit. Made for a great photo though!
This gives frosty Friday a whole new meaning (though I do recommend lots of cold beverages today!) Enjoy, stay cool, and happy Friday!
