Ali and Keats were married one week ago and it was a blast to photograph! Ali is the most thoughtful bride who thinks of everything, from custom champagne glasses and jewelry for her bridesmaids to surprising her new groom by hiring a painter to paint their reception as it occurred. Keats looked dapper in his tuxedo, beamed at Ali the whole day, and gave an impressive and heartfelt welcome toast at the reception. Their wedding party of 8 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen were so much fun and we had lots of laughs as I made them “walk casually and look at each other!” The gorgeous color palette of pink and gold was brought to life by Renny & Reed.
The bride got ready at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel in midtown, where I recorded a tearful and moving first look and took family formals in the gorgeous brownstone courtyard, then proceeded to their ceremony at the stunning St. Vincent Ferrer Church on the Upper East Side (also where the groom’s parents and grandparents were married!), and ended with a GORGEOUS reception at 620 Loft and Garden above Rockefeller Center. We were all safely tucked inside for dinner and dancing before Hurricane Henri arrived with gusto and turned 5th Avenue into a rushing river!
I have SO much more to share on this amazing day, all planned and executed by the event guru Nancy Harris Events, but for now…here are a few! Congrats Ali and Keats!
